My name is Claudia Helene’ Anthony.  Recently, I was selected to be a state delegate at the 2005 Miss Black USA Scholarship Pageant, to be held in Washington D.C., on August 7, 2005.  I am very excited about this opportunity to represent the state of Georgia.

The program is led by a distinguished team of women with over 40 years of pageant experience.  The Miss Black USA competition is an exclusive program for young women, with the key focus being the complete woman, mind, body and spirit.

Most important, I am excited to participate in this pageant program because it will help me develop as a person, contributing to my confidence, poise, interviewing skills and aptitude for public speaking.  I plan to use this experience to build on my accomplishments and expand my educational and professional opportunities.

I am seeking sponsors to help me achieve my goal of participating in this competition.  The sponsorship fee covers a portion of my Miss Black Georgia contribution to The Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, many of the pageant program expenses, including training sessions, production, and scholarships. Sponsors’ names will appear in the Official Pageant Program Book, giving them national advertising exposure.  All donations are precious to me! The sponsorship fee or any donations given may qualify as a tax-deductible advertising expense.  To be a platinum sponsor the gift is $1000.00, this of course means in addition to the national exposure I would personally be a spokesperson for your business.
